Handcrafted Cremation Stones for People and Pets

The amount of ash required depends on the size and quantity of stones you order. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll provide detailed instructions in the collection kit about how much ash to send. Any remaining ashes can be stored or scattered according to your wishes.

We use 100% of the ash you send to us to create the stone(s). There is a small fraction of ash that is lost due to residue which unfortunately cannot be avoided. If, for whatever reason, there is any ash we don`t use then we`ll return the unused ash with the finished stone(s).

The ashes are combined with a small amount of our unique ‘non-toxic’ binding material which make them extremely strong and if left outside are designed to last decades depending on how extreme the weather circumstances become.

Our process takes on average 6-8 weeks once we receive the ashes. This process may take quicker or longer depending on how many stones we are currently making at any given time. We will endeavour to keep you posted of our progress via email throughout the entire process.

Yes, it doesn’t matter how old the ashes are, we`ll happily make a stone for you.

Our process is designed in such a way that only one stone can be made at any given time so there can be no mixing of any ashes. 

Yes, we`ll gladly accept all your ashes in its existing container. We could either arrange to collect the ashes if not too far or, you`d be responsible for couriering the container to us. We'll then use the required amount of ash for the stone size(s) selected and return the remainder of the unused ash in its container back to you with the finished stone(s). Please email these requests through separately.

Every stone is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring that each one is truly unique. As a result, no two stones are identical, reflecting the individuality of the person from whom the cremation ashes were received. 

Due to the porous nature of cremation ash, tiny air bubble holes, hairline cracks, indentations or occasional small bits of metal may be present on the surface of the stones; however, these characteristics do not compromise the structural integrity and smoothness of the stone itself. 

Additionally, variations in colour are to be expected, each stone bearing a distinct hue reminiscent of the uniqueness it commemorates. To safeguard the stone's surface, a wooden disc inlay is incorporated into the base, preventing scratches whilst providing a level platform.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your finished Solace Stone product, we`ll return the stone back to an ash-like powder and offer a full refund of the purchase price paid. The returned ash-like powder will include the binding material which is impossible to remove once bound together during the manufacturing process. Excludes courier charges and returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the finished Solace Stone product.
