The Solace Stone Process

Select the size of the stone you desire to be hand-crafted. With a single set of ashes, we can create multiple stones in different sizes, depending on the available ash quantity. Ideal for family members or pet owners who wish to have their own stones.

Upon selection, we`ll post you a secure ashes collection kit which you can fill with the necessary amount of ash for the specified size and quantity of stones purchased. Full instructions will be provided in the kit.

When the ashes are ready, simply drop the secure collection kit off at your nearest courier drop-off point, and they`ll return them safely back to us. All courier costs have been included.

Upon receiving your loved one`s ashes, we embark on the meticulous process of hand-crafting your Solace Stone(s) with utmost care and appreciation. We then employ precise laser engraving techniques to inscribe your loved one`s details onto the surface, ensuring a personalized and enduring tribute.

We arrange for the safe delivery of your completed Solace Stone(s) directly to you, tracked through our courier service. The entire process typically spans 6-8 weeks depending on our current capacity.

Solace Stone Finish:

Every stone is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring that each one is truly unique. As a result, no two stones are identical, reflecting the individuality of the person from whom the cremation ashes were received. Due to the porous nature of cremation ash, tiny air bubble holes, hairline cracks, and indentations may be present on the surface of the stones; however, these characteristics do not compromise the structural integrity and smoothness of the stone itself. Additionally, variations in colour are to be expected, each stone bearing a distinct hue reminiscent of the uniqueness it commemorates. To safeguard the stone's surface, a wooden disc inlay is incorporated into the base, preventing scratches whilst providing a level platform.
